Yogi Amandeep Singh

Yogi Amandeep Singh Ji

Yogi Amandeep Singh is a world-renowned teacher of yogic and meditative traditions and the carrier of the living transmission of Mahasiddha Baba Sri Chand's teachings. A master of the Nirmallay Sikh Sadhu tradition and the Udasin lineage, he has spent his life making the depth and power of this ancient wisdom accessible to sincere seekers across the world.

His role with this Ashram

It was Yogi Ji who recognized this land in the Himalayan foothills as the site where Baba Sri Chand had sat in sustained meditation. Since then he has dedicated his work to bringing the Ashram into being as a living sanctuary honoring that presence and those teachings.

The Ashram reflects his conviction that lineage must be rooted in place as well as in transmission. A consecrated environment, properly cared for, itself becomes a support for inner transformation. The Ashram is an extension of his teaching: a place where what is transmitted through retreat can be lived day after day.

Teaching and Transmission

Through retreats, teachings, pilgrimage, and direct guidance, Yogi Amandeep Singh has helped seekers around the world enter depth, clarity, and real transformation. His work bridges the full weight of the Udasin and Nirmallay traditions with the genuine spiritual needs of people living now.

For many of his students, his teachings have opened a doorway to a more disciplined meditation, a more grounded relationship with Dharma, and a clearer view of their own lives.

Lineage and recognition

Yogi Amandeep Singh was formally recognized within the Nirmallay Sikh Sadhu lineage by Sri Mahant Swami Gian Dev Singh Ji Maharaj, the revered head of the Nirmallay Sikh Sadhu tradition.

At his hands, Yogi Ji received three sacred marks of authentic transmission within this living lineage:

  • the turban of Dharma

  • the seal of recognition

  • the robes of the order

The Ashram's spiritual foundation rests on this transmitted authority: a lineage that flows from Baba Sri Chand's original teaching, has served seekers for more than five centuries, and continues today through the Ashram and its growing community.
